The Mangled Remains of Other People's Thoughts

Rule One: Cruelty is wrong.

Rule Two: Nothing stays the same.

Rule Three: There is no joy in pain, and no hope in death.

Rule Four: The only good deaths are deaths that decrease the number of total deaths.

Rule Five: if there really are two sides to every argument, be the other one.

Rule Six: Wanting what you can't have is stupid.

Rule Six(additional): What you can't have is a far smaller collection of things than you think.

Rule Seven: If there's something you really want, make it happen.

Rule Eight: All people are stupid, but some are less stupid than others.

Rule Nine: Everybody dies. Everybody also defecates. Both of these things are exactly as relevant in any given situation.

Rule Ten: When determining guilt, the only question worth asking is "Was the victim a victim?"

Rule Eleven: Everyone screws up. The important thing is to learn from it.

Rule Twelve: Remember, everybody else is a person too. Unfortunately, this includes people you don't like.
